The process is usually quick, taking only a few minutes. The collected samples are then immediately transported to our on-site laboratory for analysis. The results are then promptly reviewed by the emergency physician to aid in your diagnosis and treatment plan. If you have a fear of needles, please inform our staff, and they will do their best to make you as comfortable as possible.

How Long Will It Take to Get My Lab Results Back in an Emergency?

In most emergency situations at PrimeCare Emergency Center, we prioritize rapid turnaround times for laboratory results. Many common tests, such as basic blood counts, electrolyte levels, and urinalysis, can often have preliminary results available within minutes of the sample being collected.
